PRODUCTION + SUSTAINABILITY
Icone imagines, designs and prototypes their collections in Paris, using fabrics from renowned French lace makers like Sophie Hallette and Maison Jabouley, and pairs them with SEQUAL textiles (made from upcycled marine plastic) and GOTS certified cotton. The collection is then produced with two carefully chosen partners in the Shenzen region in China and Tunesia. Both manufacturers are (committed to improving working conditions), (standards for labor laws, health and safety) and (environmental compliance) certified.
IDENTITY + VISION
Marion, the founder of Icone Lingerie was working in the music industry in New York, before she decided to launch her own label in 2014 and returned to her hometown Paris. Born into a family of corset makers, lingerie became an almost obvious choice. All pieces are designed to bring out the icon that is in every woman, be it Brigitte Bardot, Farah Fawcett, Kate Moss or your mum! As Marion puts it: “More than celebrity, more than glory, being an icon is first and foremost an aura”. Through her unique Parisian approach, Icone Lingerie became a real intimate manifesto for daring women in search of elegance and effortlessness.
