Nette Rose is known for their on-demand-production which means that once they receive an order, the small team based in Cape Town, South Africa start sewing the lingerie there in their own atelier. This reduces waste and eliminates over production. The team carefully sources their materials, for example the thread used to hold Nette Rose Lingerie together comes from a South African based company who have a zero landfill policy, utilizing solar energy from South African sun and have since planted 1000 olive trees to help reduce the greenhouse gas CO2 from the air and offset their emissions. Nette Rose's team is a tight knit family and the well being of each team member is the brand's first priority.

Meg founded Nette Rose after in her first year of fashion studies out of a passion for beautiful lingerie, unique textiles and vintage finds.Thebusiness is named afterMeg's two grand mothers Nette (pronounced Nettie) and Rose who are a source of inspiration through their cheeky attitude, adventurous spirit and classic style. With colorful and delicate laces, Nette Rose conquered the hearts of women across the world and established itself as one of the first ethical lingerie brands!
