A lovely little slip, probably early 1940s when hemlines got higher. The bodice is designed with adjustable straps, an empire waist in front and stitched down vee-neck wrap front. The skirt is bias cut. There is lace trim along the neckline and hem, with eyelet lace at the waist threaded with narrow satin ribbon threaded through to adjust fit.
SIZE: No size label. Measurements taken laying flat. Being bias cut, the measurements are somewhat forgiving, but if you go wider, the slip will be shorter.

CONDITION: Very good condition over all, with a few small flaws. The slider on the left strap has tarnished a bit leaving grayish discoloration - see closeup - the second discoloration shown is the part of the strap that tucks inside. There is a similarly grayish dot on the left upper back, and near that, a few faint watermarks - see second closeup.
